Lately I’ve gotten into Retro Achievements which gives some new, interesting replay value to older games. My most recent master completion was Gradius 2 for the Famicom and I found out you can farm for points on the stage 5 boss. I wanted to see what would happen when I reached 9999999. Would it counter stop like Recca does? Would it show hexidecimal values in place of the 9s? No, it rolled over. This actually took quite a long time to test too making it a laughable yet disappointing discovery. 😅
